Alta Liberty Mill
Alta Liberty Mill is designed for 304 residential units in three five-story, wood-frame buildings with 11,900 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The project will be LEED Certified and will feature 100% surface parking for residents, as well as an extensive indoor and outdoor amenity package. The site is directly adjacent to the Germantown Town Center, which offers a wide-variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues, as well as two neighborhood grocery stores. Additionally, the site is situated directly across Germantown Road (Route 118) from the MARC Commuter Rail Station, which provides access to the Washington Metro’s Red Line via stations in Rockville, Silver Spring, and DC’s Union Station. Finally, the project is located less than one mile from the Interstate 270 Technology Corridor, nicknamed “DNA Alley” and considered the epicenter for bio-technology in the Mid-Atlantic region.
