Bennett Sands is a Regional Director of Development with responsibility for Wood Partners’ East region, which includes Boston, the Mid-Atlantic, the Carolinas, Nashville, and Georgia. His role encompasses oversight of development, finance, construction, and asset management, and he serves on the company’s Investment Committee. Previously, Bennett served as Development Director in Wood Partners’ Atlanta office.

Bennett joined the company in 2003 and has since been actively involved in more than $1 billion in real estate transactions. Prior to joining Wood Partners, Bennett worked in Investment Banking for Robinson-Humphrey in Atlanta.

Bennett earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. He attributes his success to the MBA with a Real Estate concentration that he earned from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Luke Davis is the Managing Director at Wood Partners in Washington, DC, where he leads the sourcing, financing, and development of multifamily and mixed-use projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the development of more than 8,000 units totaling $2.8 billion in capitalization.

Prior to joining Wood Partners, Luke served as Chief Investment Officer at Kettler, overseeing development, acquisitions, asset management, and capital markets. During his tenure, he was involved in transactions totaling over 16,000 units with more than $4 billion in capitalization.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Multifamily Housing Council.
