Micah Conn

Micah Conn is a Managing Director at Wood Partners, where he leads the firm’s South Florida platform. He oversees all aspects of development activity across the region, including origination, entitlements, design, capitalization, and construction management. With more than 20 years of experience, Conn has developed and delivered complex multifamily and mixed-use projects throughout South Florida, establishing a strong track record in one of the nation’s most dynamic development markets.

Prior to joining Wood Partners, Conn served as Senior Vice President of Development at AvalonBay Communities, where he established and led the company’s Southeast Florida development operations. During his tenure, he was responsible for sourcing, entitling, developing and stabilizing projects from inception through delivery, playing a key role in expanding the firm’s presence in the region.

Earlier in his career, Conn served as Regional Vice President of Investments at Gables Residential, overseeing the firm’s Florida investment activities, and as Vice President of Development at M-M Properties. He holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. Conn is also a licensed Florida Certified General Contractor.
