Lakewood — Atlanta-based real estate company Wood Partners announced today that it intends to build an apartment complex on 19.2 acres in Lakewood, near the Pinehurst County Club.

Alta Pinehurst will be located at 3950 S. Wadsworth Blvd. and will include 350 apartment units built in a garden-style configuration.

Wood Partners intends to have the units ready for move-in by fall 2017, and the apartments will average 965 square feet.

“Residents will have convenient access to major employers as well as numerous retail and dining options at the Southwest Plaza mall and Belmar, among others,” said Jack Kachadurian, vice president of development for the Denver and Rocky Mountain regions at Wood Partners.

Wood Partners acquired the land from an undisclosed seller, which was represented by ARA, A Newmark Company.
